What support covers

Coverage is installation, adding the Gift wrap option block to your theme, the gift wrap and gift message fields it shows on cart items, uploading a wrap swatch image, the list of what the app has recorded in your store, plan and billing questions, uninstall, and privacy or data requests. These are the implemented app workflows.

No response-time or resolution-time guarantee is made. A service level must not be advertised unless an operating team and a monitoring process exist to meet it.

How to contact support

Use benettimedia@gmail.com. Do not send Shopify access tokens, passwords, bank details, or payment-card information. Identify the shop by its *.myshopify.com domain.

Information to include

• the *.myshopify.com shop domain;
• which theme and template the Gift wrap option block is on;
• whether the issue affects the theme block, the cart page, the list of recorded items, the plan screen, or uninstall;
• the time of the problem and the visible error message.

What shoppers see

The Gift wrap option block shows each cart item with a choice between one wrap style you name and no wrap, and an optional gift message of up to 200 characters. Saving writes both as properties on that cart line; no product, cart line or order is added. If you pick a wrap swatch image in the block settings, the block shows it above the items. There is no gift receipt option.

Wrap swatch images

The app screen uploads a swatch image into your store's Shopify Files, where the block's Wrap swatch setting can pick it, and records the file so uninstalling deletes it.

What the app has recorded in your store

The app screen lists every item the app has recorded in its ledger, grouped by the gift option that owns it, each with a sentence describing it. In this build the only items recorded are wrap image files. Gift choices shoppers save on cart lines, and the theme block itself, are not on the list.

Uninstalling

Uninstalling triggers Shopify's app/uninstalled webhook. The app deletes every file on that list, then reads your store back. If anything remains, the app reports the failure to Shopify rather than reporting a completed removal — Shopify redelivers the webhook, so a failure is retried instead of being lost. Shopify removes the app's theme block on uninstall; gift wrap and gift message properties already on orders are not changed.

Shopify's shop/redact webhook, delivered later, deletes the session and the artifact ledger this app holds for your shop. Both are read back before success is reported.

Billing

One flat plan, billed monthly or annually, with no usage component. If you cancel, money already paid is not returned.

Changes

If coverage, contact routes, billing terms, or uninstall behaviour change, this page is updated before or with that change and the effective date is moved forward.
